HTMLift (htmlift.com) is a site of free online games. This page says what data we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Game data: your name in the game, avatar, level, scores, progress, coins, gear and duel records, to keep your progress and show the rankings and duels.
- Device key: the game keeps a random key in your browser to recognise you; the server keeps only a hashed copy of it.
- Connection data: your IP address and country, to stop spam and cheating.
- Browser storage: your settings (language, theme, sound) and game saves stay in your own browser.
- Contact form: the name, reply address and message you leave, only to answer you.
- Google account (only if you choose to link it): the account ID and email Google provides, only so you can sign back in to your game on another device. Linking is optional.
How we use it
- Only to run and improve the games: saving progress, rankings, duels, stopping cheating and answering your messages.
- We never sell your data.
Where it is kept and for how long
- On Cloudflare servers and databases.
- Game records are kept as long as they are needed, for example 14 days for each game played and 1 day for device codes; account data until you ask us to delete it.
Ads
- The site may show ads in the future. Ad providers such as Google may use cookies to show them; this page will say more when that happens.
Deleting your data
- To delete your game data or unlink Google, leave us a message on the contact page with your name in the game.
